Underfloor Heating
An underfloor heating system uses either electric heating cables or pipes carrying boiler-warmed water that are hidden beneath the floor. These cables or pipes send out radiant heat, which is absorbed by the floor, warming the entire surface of the floor. The heat absorbed by the floor is transferred into the rooms air where it expands and moves up to the ceiling as convection heat.
Because underfloor heating requires lower temperatures to heat a home than radiator heating systems, homeowners can save 20-25% on their heating bills. Heating bills for more expansive homes can be lowered up to 40%. Energy-efficient underfloor heating saves you money and helps protect the environment by using less energy.
Concrete and timer suspended floors are good candidates for underfloor heating. Almost any floor finish, including stone, hardwood, carpet, lino, and laminate, can be used with an underfloor heating system and our Valdecor team can guarantee the proper service for you.
